KEYBOARDING PROFICIENCY TEST Students will demonstrate proper keyboarding skills.

What you need to demonstrate:

 

 Students will demonstrate basic formatting of documents.

 Students will demonstrate the correct formatting for standard memorandums in block style.

 Students will demonstrate the correct formatting for business letters.

 Students will demonstrate the correct formatting for reports and topic outlines.

 Students will demonstrate the correct formatting for tables.

How you are assessed:

 

 Observation of typing technique by a teacher

 Three minute timing at a minimum of 35 words a minute with 3 or fewer errors

 Typing the following documents demonstrating correct formatting:

o Memorandum

o Letter

o MLA Report with references table

When is the Test?
