Be the One: Advocating for Youth Mental Health 

D300 Parent University will host Be the One: Advocating for Youth Mental Health on Saturday, January 20th from:

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

District 300 Central Office (2550 Harnish Drive, Algonquin, IL).

Be the One: Advocating for Your Mental Health will feature guest speaker Brandon Rohlwing, a mental health first aid certified advocate.

During this program, attendees will: 

  • Learn the signs of mental illness by familiarizing themselves with the risks and causes
  • Identify proactive measures
  • Learn how to support those who are struggling with mental health issues and what role they can play in recovery
  • Learn the steps for crisis intervention

This is a free program and open to the public. No reservation is required.
